New executive director of the Lachine Hospital Foundation

The MUHC is pleased to announce the appointment of Monica McDougall as the new executive director of the Lachine Hospital Foundation.

Monica brings with her more than 10 years of experience at the MUHC, including four years at the MUHC Foundation and six years in the Marketing and Development Office.

She also brings familiarity with the Lachine Hospital after having served as interim director of the Lachine Hospital Foundation in 2011, and overseeing the Lachine Hospital Centennial Year festivities in 2013.

Monica was also responsible for organizing the MUHC’s participation in the Auto Show charity preview for seven years, which raised more than $500,000 for The Best Care for Life  Campaign.

Since it was founded in 1976, the Lachine Hospital Foundation has provided more than $5.2 million to the Lachine Hospital. This money has supported various initiatives, equipment purchases and service enhancements throughout the hospital.
