How to get to The Neuro
The main entrance of The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) is at 3801 University Street, located north of Pine Avenue. Cars or taxis may drive up to the main entrance and drop off passengers. See the MNH floorplan.
Parking is available in the P1 lot (located on Pine Ave. just west of University Ave. at the former Royal Victoria Hospital main entrance).
People may be dropped off/picked up at the hospital main entrance on University Ave. Vehicles must then either park in the parking lot or leave the premises. All entrances, exits and roads must be free of vehicles for safety and security reasons. The City of Montreal is permitted to issue parking tickets for vehicles illegally parked.
Handicap entrances are north of the main entrance on University Street, or through the ambulance entrance at the rear of the hospital. In addition, there are eight (8) handicapped parking spots available at the Neuro Emergency Department entrance, just south of the main entrance.
All hospital location parking rates are the same with the exception of the Lachine Hospital. Discounted parking packages are offered to lessen the financial impact of frequent visits.
Rates change every April 1st according to a fee schedule established by the Government of Quebec.

Where does parking money go?

Parking revenues are used to repay the cost of construction, maintenance, staffing, etc. Any excess revenues go into the hospital operating budget in order to support patient care, including the purchase of hospital equipment, etc.
