We perform complex lateral skull base procedures for schwannomas (a type of nerve tumour) and other diseases of the skull base.
We also perform middle ear surgeries and contribute to the care of patients with head and neck cancer.
Our vision for a cochlear implant program in Montreal was realized in 2022 when the MUHC was named a principal point of service for patients of all ages in western Quebec.
Our research team is working to build a comprehensive cochlear implant research program. This will ensure our patients benefit from the latest discoveries and best practices in the field. Our goal is to improve patient outcomes and fully understand what helps or hinders the recovery of hearing.
