World-class labs creating clinical impact through interdisciplinary science
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (The Institute) is the research arm of McGill University’s largest teaching hospital, the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).
More than 700 researchers and their teams are located across the MUHC: at the Glen site, which includes the Montreal Children's Hospital, the Royal Victoria Hospital, and the Chest Institute; at the Montreal General Hospital; at the Montreal Neurological Institute; and at 5252 de Maisonneuve. The integration of both pediatric and adult hospitals within the MUHC uniquely positions researchers at The Institute to study health and disease across the life course, from preconception to end of life.
