Doctors and Nurses Dance Night
A recent fundraising event for The Best Care for Life Campaign gave some Montreal club employees the chance to be a doctor or a nurse for just one night.
Chris Garde, a security guard at the Royal Victoria Hospital, organized the event called 911: Emergency at Cherry Nightclub. At the party, club staff dressed up as healthcare professionals and helped raise funds. The night also featured music by DJ Nyan Narine, another whose day job is as a doctor in the adult cardiology unit at the Lachine Hospital.
“People loved it,” Garde said, “I’m already planning the next event.”.
The party raised $560 for The Best Care for Life Campaign. For information on upcoming events, be sure to check the Events listing at muhc.ca/cause.
