For an easier winter...there's a vaccine for that!

Québec's seasonal vaccination campaign is underway. You can now use Clic Santé to book an appointment for the flu, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines.

Flu and COVID-19

Vaccination against the flu and COVID-19 is one of the most effective ways to prevent serious complications, hospitalizations, and deaths from these infections. Vaccination not only protects you—it also contributes to protecting loved ones and those who are most vulnerable.

Vaccination is free for people who are 65 and older, pregnant, or immunocompromised, including those with diabetes, a weakened immune system, or heart, lung, or kidney disease. Many appointments became available on the Clic Santé portal on October 13. You will be offered an appointment in a facility near you, either in a local point of service or a community pharmacy. 

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

People aged 75 and older can also receive the RSV vaccine free of charge. It can be given at the same time as the flu and COVID-19 vaccines. 

Appointments for infant RSV preventive treatment have also been available since September 21. The treatment is administered to eligible newborns at birth. It is also available by appointment for children who did not receive it at birth. It is also available by appointment so that children who did not receive it at birth can also benefit. In recent years, it has shown almost 90% effectiveness in preventing child hospitalizations and visits to the Emergency Department. Check if your child is eligible on Québec.ca.
