What to bring to your first appointment
If you have had tests or medical imaging done somewhere else, you must bring the results with you to your first appointment at the MUHC. This includes CDs of CT scans (Computed Tomography), PET scans (Positron Emission Tomography), MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), and ultrasounds.

- brain MRI (if you had one)
- CT scans of your:
- abdomen
- chest
- head
- pelvis
- endoscopy (gastroscopy)
- PET scan of your whole body
- biopsies
- brain MRI (if you had one)
- CT scans of your:
- abdomen
- chest
- head
- pelvis
- PET scan of your whole body
- pulmonary function test
All patients are asked to please bring copies of any prior diagnostic test results, including results from a:
- barium swallow
- biopsy
- bronchoscopy
- motility study
- ultrasound
- endobronchial
- endoscopic
IMPORTANT
Please note: Not having copies of diagnostic tests or scans that you had done somewhere other than the MUHC can cause delays.
