The MUHC’s 20th Annual Free Outreach Eye Clinic was a record-breaking success!

The MUHC's Annual Free Outreach Eye Clinic’s team is delighted to share the positive results of the 20th edition of the event, recently held in collaboration with the Chinese Lions' Club of Greater Montreal and with the support of Dr. Jean Deschênes and many volunteers. After the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year was a real success, marking a record with over 170 patients from the community benefiting from our services. Under the leadership of Dr. John Chen, the clinic was a resounding success.

We were delighted to see this initiative receive wide media coverage, bringing positive visibility to our department and residency program. Our work was featured on Global Morning, CTV News and Beat 92.5.
