McGill University Sexual Identity Centre (MUSIC)
The McGill University Sexual Identity Centre (MUSIC) provides specialized mental health care to individuals, couples and families with sexual orientation and gender identity issues. Our clientele includes people who are questioning their gender identity or sexual orientation or who feel unhappy about it, individuals and couples seeking to improve the quality of their interpersonal relationships, and couples and families who have concerns about a loved one’s gender identity or sexual orientation. MUSIC also works to enhance the health of the larger community through research, education, outreach and advocacy around sexual orientation and gender issues, homophobia and transphobia.

Our center has developed an expertise in sexual orientation and gender identity issues.
MUSIC offers short-term individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapies, as well as couple and family psychotherapy to individuals with sexual orientation or gender identity issues.
MUSIC sometimes works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
MUSIC is situated in A2-160, on the second floor of the Montreal General Hospital, 1650 Cedar Avenue.
