Old building of the MUHCWith our move to the Glen site, the MUHC Board of Directors has indicated that buildings at the Montreal Children's Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital and the Montreal Chest Institute will be “surplus immovable property”.

In 2013, in an effort to recognize the value of the MUHC and CHUM buildings, the Quebec government announced the creation of an interdepartmental committee whose mandate is to provide a plan detailing how the buildings will be reused or sold.
