Why is the Royal Victoria Hospital public pool closed?

The decision was taken not to open the Royal Victoria Hospital pool because the site is no longer a functioning public space. We understand that former users of the pool may be disappointed. Unfortunately, the resources and effort required to prepare the pool, and operate it throughout the summer, as well as securing the premises off-hours against vandalism and intrusion, is simply more than we can take on since moving to the Glen site.
