Sustainable progress at the MUHC: See what’s new!

Sustainable development continues to move forward at the MUHC, with several important new highlights to share.  

The MUHC's inaugural Waste Management Plan was recently recognized as a finalist at the 19th CRE-Montréal Gala. It highlights ongoing efforts to reduce waste and improve environmental practices across the MUHC. It’s a testament to the great work happening every day.

CRE-Montréal also shared an engaging video of the finalists and their projects. The segment featuring the MUHC highlights team members Amanda De Rosa (Planning, Programming and Research Officer) and David Dass (Department Head, Housekeeping Services) discussing the commitment to improve recycling practices and reduce landfill waste. As part of the ongoing work of the Performance and Sustainable Development team, the Sustainable Development web section has been refreshed to provide patients and the public with clear information on initiatives, key projects, and helpful resources.
