Our responsibilities include:

• around-the-clock service for supported applications and systems, responding to more than 45,000 service calls and more than 25,000 service requests each year   
• acquisition and management of IT equipment and support for nearly 15,000 users (infrastructure) 
• support for clinical and administrative applications, directly and in collaboration with clinical teams
• maintenance of IT infrastructures (telecommunications, network, cybersecurity, helpdesk and technical support, data centres, etc.)  

These are some examples of our interns' projects:

• data visualization via power BI
• development and extraction of reports via BI or SQL
• design and implementation of Machine Learning algorithms
• data manipulation using the Python language
• implementation of "Flask & Django" websites and hosting on servers

Tasks are based on each intern’s level of study. Internships may touch on all the functions of document management and archiving, including:

• classification
• appraisal
• media change
• preventive conservation

Internships combine practical job shadowing experience with an individual project based on the interns’ unique skills and interests. You might participate in collection development, literature searching, training and instruction, marketing, cataloguing, records management, and client service.
