The MCH is testing its emergency response system

To test response measures in the event of an external disaster, the Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH) will be involved in a simulation exercise:

Thursday, September 10

8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

MCH Emergency Department (ED)

The MCH ED will continue to operate during this period. All children requiring urgent care will be seen and treated according to their triage category.

The adult ED will also test their new decontamination tents in front of the department. This will not affect wait times or patient flow. 

During this exercise, some non-urgent hospital services may be delayed.
