Northbound highway 15 (Decarie) closure – August 28 to 31, 2026

Patients and staff of the MUHC: please note that the Northbound Highway 15 (Decarie) will be closed from August 28 to 31, 2026. The closure is required to carry out beam repairs on the overpasses at Des Jockeys Street and Ferrier Street.

From Friday, August 28 at 10:30 p.m. to Monday, August 31 at 5:00 a.m.

Traffic Impacts and Detours

• Complete closure of northbound Highway 15 (Decarie) between Exit 69 (Jean-Talon) and the entrance ramp from Paré Street to northbound Highway 15.
• Closure of the entrance ramp from Édouard-Montpetit Boulevard to northbound Highway 15.

The Samuel-De Champlain Bridge will also be closed in the northbound direction (toward Montréal) during the same period.

Significant traffic congestion is expected. Motorists travelling in the area are advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations.

Clearly marked detour routes will be in place. Work may be postponed, extended, or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or operational requirements. Before travelling, road users may consult Québec 511, a practical tool for planning trips.
