Temporary Change to the 71 Bus Route
October 16th, 2026
News
Starting Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the 71 Pointe-Saint-Charles bus route will temporarily terminate at Charlevoix station instead of Guy-Concordia station. All trips will begin and end at Charlevoix station.
This change could affect patients at the Montreal General Hospital.
The change is due to three construction projects taking place at the same time in Pointe-Saint-Charles and downtown Montreal, including the full closure of Pont des Seigneurs. Rerouting the 71 bus to Charlevoix station will help minimize delays, and ensure more consistent and reliable service throughout the construction period.
Please plan your commute accordingly
