Reinstatement of regular hours at the Lachine Hospital Emergency Department for walk-in patients

The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) wishes to inform the public that as of Monday, January 24, 2022, the Lachine Hospital Emergency Room will once again be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for walk-in patients.

The MUHC continues its collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Services, and other Montreal institutions to maintain access to health services for the population of Lachine and the surrounding area.

We would also like to remind you that work on the Lachine Hospital modernization project is still underway. Once finalized, this project, estimated at more than $200 million, will allow the hospital to maintain a high level of care and offer patients modern facilities and individual rooms conducive to healing. This project represents our vision of a promising future for the community hospital, and we are committed to its successful completion.
