No vehicle access to the Montreal General Hospital from Pine Avenue during construction

The Montreal General Hospital will be undergoing extensive construction work which will block access to the Pine Avenue entrance from Monday, August 12 to Friday, October 4, 2024, for a period of eight weeks. During this time, please use Cedar Avenue:  

• To access the hospital  
• To enter or exit the parking lot of the hospital  
• To exit from the multi-level parking   

Visitors and patients can enter the hospital from Pine Avenue on foot at the Livingston Pavilion (Block L) entrance. 

Access to the Emergency Department   

There will be no vehicle access to the Emergency Department.  If you must drop off a patient by car, please do so at the Cedar Avenue entrance and follow the signs to the multi-level parking lot. Pedestrians can gain access to the Emergency Department from Pine Avenue at the Livingston Pavilion (Block L) entrance.  There will be signs to guide patients and visitors to Emergency along the route inside the hospital.
