Men’s Health and Wellness Day at Lachine Hospital – invite your friends and family! 

The third edition of Men’s Health and Wellness Day at Lachine Hospital takes place Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The MUHC’s Lachine Hospital teams invite men to take part in this event. 

A check of your health: it’s a must 

Come see our teams for a no-appointment-needed check-up that includes urine, blood and blood pressure tests and, if you wish, a prostate exam. Our teams at Lachine Hospital will provide any necessary follow-up. 

What? Free, no appointment necessary, medical check for men: urine and blood pressure tests, blood draws, and prostate exams for men. 

Who? All men. 

When? Thursday, June 13 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (walk-in) 

Where? Lachine Hospital (650 16th Avenue, Lachine QC H8S 3N5), via the hospital parking entrance on 16th Avenue.

Did you know that one in nine men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point in their lives? Testing makes it easier to detect this cancer early. 

“During this month of June, the month of Father's Day, it’s important to remind men that prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in males, and the fourth most common form of cancer in Canada. It’s essential that men take the time to check their health and see a doctor if something doesn’t seem right.
