Learn more about the wide array of internships at the MUHC!

We are excited to launch a new section on the MUHC website dedicated to internships.

“This reflects the wide variety of placements offered at the MUHC,” says Marie-Ève Simoncelli, Director of Education and Simulation at the MUHC. “When most people think about stage opportunities in a hospital environment, they probably think of students studying to be doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. However, there are many possibilities for internships in the hospital’s other sectors, too. Project management, engineering, information services - just to name a few.”

The new pages feature user-friendly design and categorization. Descriptions of each activity sector, relevant areas of study, and the kinds of projects and responsibilities interns can expect are included.

“One of the main objectives is to make it easier for external candidates to learn what is offered at the MUHC and to simplify the application process for those interested in internships that aren’t organized by their teaching institution,” explains Simoncelli.
