Chantal Rouleau, Minister of Transport, Minister responsible for the Metropolis and the Montreal region

"From the beginning of the project, we have worked with patients and employees to ensure that the Lachine Hospital becomes a modern, patient-centred healthcare facility with a human face. What we see today is the beginning of a great achievement not only for the population of Lachine, Dorval and the surrounding area, but also for our employees and those who will join the ranks in the future."

MUHC President and CEO, Dr. Pierre Gfeller

"The Lachine Hospital is a community hospital that plays an important role for the population of Lachine and to continue to offer its proximity service it needed to be renovated. The community of Lachine is proud of its community hospital and it is with great emotion and happiness that we welcome this important investment by the Quebec government.
