Early vote access for hospitalized patients (including residents) of the MUHC

We want to encourage patients who are hospitalized at the MUHC, as well as patients who are residents, to participate in the upcoming municipal election through early access to voting on Saturday, October 25. Patients will be able to vote from their patient room.

In order for a patient to be eligible, they must:

  • Also live in the riding of the hospital in which they are admitted – see below for details.
  • Submit the FORM VIA EMAIL ([email protected]) by Thursday, October 16 at 6 p.m.
  • OR submit the above form IN PERSON to the unit nurse coordinator by Thursday, October 16 at 12 p.m.

For all sites, if you are submitting the form in person, please submit it to the nursing unit coordinator no later than October 16 at 12 p.m.

Lachine Hospital - Who is eligible? Hospitalized/resident of the Lachine Hospital or the CHSLD Camille Lefebvre Pavilion, who are also residents of the Lachine riding.

MGH/Neuro - Who is eligible? Hospitalized/resident of the Montreal General Hospital, or the Neuro, who are also residents of the Ville-Marie riding.

Glen site - Who is eligible? Hospitalized/resident of the Royal Victoria Hospital, who are also resident of the NDG riding, which includes areas south of Côte St-Luc.

Patients who do not submit their application in time will have to vote at their local station on the day of the election. The official date of the municipal election is Sunday, November 2.
