Careers and opportunities for people with disabilities

On October 22, the People and Culture team at The Institute hosted a Career and Opportunities Fair for people with disabilities, as part of its commitment to promoting a more equitable and inclusive workplace and research environment.

The MUHC Talent Acquisition team of Human Resources directorate, and the MUHC Accessibility Committee were on hand to speak with participants, collect job applications, and explore the best ways to promote inclusive communication.

“I was inspired by the meaningful connections and proud to see our collective commitment to accessibility and inclusion in action!” said Deborah Fleming, chair of the MUHC Accessibility Committee

Kimberley Davie and Anna Christopoulos from the Talent Acquisition team added:

“We were proud to participate in the career fair for people with disabilities — an inspiring event that highlights the power of inclusion and equal opportunity employment.”

This initiative reflects the commitment of The Institute and the MUHC to make the workplace more accessible, where everyone can fully contribute to the mission of care, teaching, and research.
