MusiArt's 25th anniversary show

A choir rises from the ashes - support MusiArt

The MusiArt choir has literally risen from the ashes. Made up of MUHC patients and psychiatric outpatients and based at the Montreal General Hospital, the group was scheduled to perform on May 25 at the Chapelle du Bon Pasteur to celebrate its 25th anniversary. On the very same day, the historic chapel went up in flames and the choir's instruments were destroyed.

The singers are back in action on October 12 at Théâtre Plaza. The show will also be an opportunity to launch their new album, which consists entirely of original creations. Produced by Music Therapist Dany Bouchard, the event is a fundraiser for the MUHC's Mental Health Music Therapy Program.

To purchase a ticket, follow the link to the Montreal General Hospital Foundation. The price includes admission to the concert and a copy of the new CD. You'll also receive a tax receipt for your donation.
