MI4 and Global Health Programs (GHP) awarded $100,000 to drive early-stage, high-impact projects that tackle some of the world’s most pressing health challenges
The McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity (MI4) and the McGill Global Health Programs (GHP) recently announced the four winning teams of the 2025 GHP-MI4 Steinberg Seed Fund Grant. Two of them are led by members of The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (The Institute)!

- Dr. Joanne Liu (Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences)– on global health treaty negotiations
- Dr. Jonathon Campbell (The Institute, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences)– on biomarkers for targeted TB prevention
- Dr. Prativa Baral (Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences )– on health-seeking behaviors in immigrant communities
- Dr. Ugochinyere Vivian Ukah (The Institute, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences)– on neonatal sepsis risk in Nigeria
