Bravo Dr. Christine Saint-Martin, recipient of the 2024 Prix Albert-Jutras!

The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) congratulates Dr. Christine Saint-Martin as the recipient of the 2024 Prix Albert-Jutras from the Société de Radiologie du Québec (SRQ), recognizing her outstanding lifetime achievements as a Pediatric radiologist and neuroradiologist at the Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH). Each year, the Prix Albert-Jutras is given to a radiologist working in a hospital, university, or other setting for their exceptional contributions to the practice and growth of radiology.

“Congratulations, Dr. Saint Martin, on this well-earned distinction! Your dedication and passion for your work at the Montreal Children’s Hospital inspires everyone around you. May this award be a reflection of your excellence and an encouragement to continue to light the way for others. We are lucky to work in collaboration with you,” says Carole Proulx, Chief Technologist in Medical Imaging at the Children’s.

Dr. Karl Muchantef and Dr. Jean-Pierre Pelage stood proudly by Dr. Saint-Martin’s side at the awards ceremony on November 16. In front of a full crowd, they gave Dr. Saint-Martin a beautiful introduction outlining some of her finest achievements. For Dr. Saint-Martin, this has been a remarkable time.

“I am extremely honoured to receive this award which recognizes my contribution to research and teaching, and most of all, my dedication to the care of sick children. I see it as an incentive for young and older radiologists to demonstrate excellence, commitment, and loyalty in their own practice. This is not the end of our work; let’s continue. We want to provide and promote the best care to patients,” she shares.
