Facilities management
We are responsible for the maintenance of building infrastructures, including corrective and preventive maintenance of our existing buildings. We ensure hospital staff can provide patient care and carry out teaching and research activities in a safe and comfortable environment.
The department is also responsible for seeing that all renovations and new equipment integrated into the buildings comply with standards.

Housekeeping's mission is to provide a clean and hygienic environment for all patients, staff and visitors. The department is an important resource at the MUHC.
We can help you apply what you've learned and put those skills and knowledge into practice. Many of our interns have excelled at our hospital, some even become managers within the Health and Social Services network.

Security and Emergency Measures
Security and Emergency Measures at the MUHC assures a secure environment for patients and users of all our different sites. This service is the result of a dedicated multidisciplinary team whose priority is protection, prevention and surveillance.
