Medical device reprocessing

Reusable instruments used in examinations, procedures or surgery are thoroughly decontaminated, high-level disinfected or sterilized to remove microorganisms.

More than 100 medical device reprocessing attendants (MDRA) contribute to the access of reprocessed reusable medical devices at the MUHC.  We have centralized reprocessing units open around-the-clock, seven days a week and our satellite units are open Monday to Friday.

We service a wide range of specialties, including pediatrics, robotics, trauma and neurology.

Our interns get to put what they've learned into practice while working alongside experts in the field.

Our teams favour a hands-on approach and are dedicated to our interns’ success.  An internship with us can lead to a job opportunity at the MUHC.
