Appointed President and Executive Director of the McGill University Health Centre on December 14, 2022, she assumed her functions on January 30, 2023. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Opatrny served as Assistant Deputy Minister at the Québec Ministry of Health and Social Services, where she managed the Academic, Medical, Nursing and Pharmaceutical Affairs Directorate since 2018.
