Dr. Gillot

A family physician and professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University, Dr. Gillot has over twenty years of experience in the healthcare field, including five years as Director of Professional Services and Clinical Relevance at the Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) of the Outaouais. He has overseen the continuity of care in various contexts, both under normal conditions and during times of crisis, including the COVID-19 pandemic, fires in two regional hospitals, and major flooding events. 

Dr. Gillot earned his Medical degree from the University of Henri-Poincaré in France, where he also completed his residency in general medicine. He holds an inter-university diploma in medical toxicology from the University of Louis-Pasteur, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the École nationale d'administration publique in Montreal and has completed additional training in disaster and emergency medicine, conflict management, and negotiation.

As a clinician-researcher, Dr. Gillot has participated in various conferences and published on topics such as overmedication in older adults, Clostridium difficile, and suicide prevention. He has also served on several committees and advisory bodies at both the regional and provincial levels.
