Règle d’Utilisation des Ressources: RUR - Urgence (adult)
As mandated by Santé Québec, the MUHC will join other institutions by progressively adopting a new Règle d’Utilisation des Ressources (RUR) for the adult Emergency Departments of the RVH, MGH and Lachine Hospital. This tool will be implemented gradually and aims to optimise ED operations by establishing a clear framework for patient care and defining roles.
The RUR aims in particular to:
- Standardise the approaches and practices of emergency physicians and consultants.
- Gather all necessary information in a single document.
- Clarify certain practices and introduce new ones to improve patient care.
