The Royal Victoria Hospital is one of five teaching hospitals within the MUHC. This includes the MUHC Reproductive Centre, where our attending physicians and nurses are active in training students, residents and clinical fellows. Clinical fellows are trained and licensed gynecologists who are pursuing sub-specialty training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
How does this affect you?
At the time of appointment, you will be seen by:
- A clinical fellow and/or a resident, who will review your medical history and test results, perform any necessary physical examinations and discuss possible treatment options with you.
- Your treating physician, who will review your test results, discuss treatment options and answer questions you may have.
- A nurse, who will explain the necessary steps to start your treatment and/or additional tests that have been ordered by your physician.
We work as a team to ensure you receive the highest quality care and that your questions and/or concerns are answered at every step.
