We work with you to improve your cardiac health and fitness, and reduce your risk factors, which can prevent cardiovascular disease from occurring or becoming worse. Our programs use state-of-the-art methods, including personalized counseling and treatment.

The Exercise Prescription Program (EPP) is a free, personalized, six-month program that will help you incorporate regular physical activity into your weekly routine. Your plan will include aerobic, resistance and flexibility exercises.

The Women’s Healthy Heart Initiative (WHHI) at the MUHC is unique in its support of women’s health because it focuses on prevention - helping women before their first heart attack happens. The goal of the WHHI is to help women understand the factors that put them at risk for heart disease.
