"You made me feel like more than just a medical case; you treated me with the utmost care and respect, recognizing the human being behind the diagnosis. Your actions reminded me that I was not alone in this fight and that there were compassionate individuals like you on my side, offering solace during one of the most challenging times in my life. Your professionalism and compassion made a tremendous difference in my journey towards recovery."

"Each time I walked through those doors, I felt particularly vulnerable, but your team’s unwavering support and expertise provided me with a sense of comfort and confidence. Your dedication to my well-being and the utmost professionalism with which you approach your work has not gone unnoticed. You not only treat the physical aspects of my condition but also address the emotional and psychological challenges that come with it. Your kindness, empathy, and attentiveness have made a profound difference in my life.

"I want to give a big thank you to the whole pre habilitation team: and especially the smoking cessation expert and the physiotherapist for making my surgery and recovery ❤️‍ a success. You all were so helpful and instrumental in my surgery and recovery. It’s people like you that make life worth it."

"Your actions reminded me that I was not alone in this fight and that there were compassionate individuals like you on my side, offering solace during one of the most challenging times in my life. Your professionalism and compassion made a tremendous difference in my journey towards recovery. While it was a difficult period, it was also a time when I encountered some of the most exceptional individuals in the healthcare profession, and your team members are certainly among them."

"Although I was very ill, my experience was very positive and has reinforced my faith in our health care system. Everyone was kind and caring from the concierge staff to the attending physicians. I would like to particularly acknowledge the tireless efforts, under sometimes trying and difficult circumstances, of the nursing staff. I attribute a good part of my recovery (both physical and mental) to the wonderful nurses who were always there to assist me in dealing with a very challenging illness."

"Words cannot express my thanks and gratitude for preparing me for my surgery. They were caring, empathetic, compassionate and skillful and thanks to their help they helped make a huge difference in preparing me for major surgery. They were genuinely concerned about me and they were dedicated to helping me get through my anxiety and my fear. They were able to make a difficult time  for me easier and thus putting me at ease about my operation."

"My brother had a heart valve replacement and had a recovery of 2 weeks after the procedure. He is handicap so a family member was always present with him. The care and service that he received was exceptional from each department that we were moved to. The doctor and nurses who preformed the surgery are miracle workers. We thank everyone so much for their patience and care they gave us and my brother during a scary time."

"I have had 3 batches of chemo for a bladder issue at the urology clinic. The team of nurses are just amazing. Despite their workload they always make time to explain the procedures and answer any questions I may have. They exhibita high level of professional skills and are compassionate and caring. They always have a pleasant greeting and call me by my name. The icing on the cake is that they also have a good sense of humor which goes a long way to take the edge off the procedures. They are truly wonderful and deserve recognition."

"I was very grateful to have a single room because it helped with my recovery process and I was able to get undisturbed sleep (except for when the nurses came in to give me my medication's or check my vitals). It was so nice having Volunteers make rounds and talk to me. It was very nice and comforting having someone ask me how I am doing that wasn't necessarily a medical professional. The added bonus of offering me a deck of cards or lip balm, or hand lotion was really very nice! I really appreciate that the hospital dietitian came around to ask me about my dietary restrictions. I keep kosher and was very grateful to have kosher meal options. All the food in general could use some improvement but overall I was very satisfied."

"The team at this clinic are very efficient. The nurse practitioner caring for me is always thorough and makes sure that I understand all changes in medication if needed and any tests that are needed, if necessary. She is very attentive, never feel rushed out. When my appointment is doneI'm confident that I've received the best care."

"So far, I am very impressed with my experience with MUHC Breast clinic, Oncology and Plastic Surgery Departments. The teams are highly professional and attuned to the patient care, working in almost perfect sync to help the patient from the first exam to the necessary investigation (in my case multiple biopsies and mammograms, including MRI guided biopsy) to scheduling the surgery without much delay, explaining every step of the process and reassuring of the results. The pamphlets with instructions about pre- and post-operative self care are very valuable to help healing properly."

"I want to express my utmost appreciation for the care I am given by my doctor at the eye clinic on De Maisonneuve; despite his high number of patients, when he is with you, it feels as if you are the only one in the world that matters. I like to ask questions and he is always generous, kind and precise in his answers. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for his knowledge, his empathy, his time. I don't know if the "angel program" is still "on" but I certainly would say that my doctor should be part of it. Thank you for asking for my feedback."

"The staff are very well prepared & kind. It was a very great experience with all the staff I came in contact with. I found them very knowledgeable and they all made sure I was comfortable at all times. I recommend the Lachine Hospital highly to everybody & let everybody know that these people work hard & can show others in the industry that being kind goes a long way when going into a hospital."

"What can I say? You guys are gold! The blood test centre is running like a Formula 1 race with the new procedures that are in place since Covid and the phlebotomists are super kind and professional! (My doctor) is an excellent doctor who is, as much as can be expected, always reachable and willing to discuss my current condition and any abnormal reactions that I have to my medication. He is always willing to make referrals to other doctors/departments if he feels that something of concern should be addressed by another specialist (as he says, I am an ''interesting case''). All of you in the health care system, from orderlies to doctors, are working in high stress situations and, although the systems itself is dysfunctional, please know that we, the patients, truly appreciate all that you do!"

"My doctor basically saved my life! He's helped me over the past year to find a solution for my chronic pain caused by 28 years with Crohn's Disease. While most doctors have just brushed me off, my doctor took the time to listen to me. He's explored many treatment options to find the right one for me. Thanks to him, I'm finally off dilaudid and the pain is at a manageable level, allowing me to return to work and fix my financial situation."
