About
We are a group of elected volunteers dedicated to helping patients and their family members and caregivers.
We can:
- give you information about your rights and responsibilities
- help you defend your rights as a person receiving care
- work to improve the quality of services offered to patients, and of living conditions for CHSLD Camille-Lefebvre residents
- provide general information about hospital resources
- guide you in filing a complaint
We:
- meet regularly to discuss patient concerns (for example: safety, quality of care, communication with staff, etc.)
- represent patients on other MUHC committees, such as the Board of the institution and the Vigilance Committee
- work with hospital administration and the ombudsperson to improve the quality of services.
