$1.65 million from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada for the CREATE project
A team led by Dr. Jake Barralet, professor at McGill University and scientist at the Research Institute of the MUHC, has received $1.65 million from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada for the CREATE project to provide students with cross-disciplinary training and to prepare them for high-skill jobs in the surgical devices industry. The announcement was held on April 14 at McGill University and present was the Parliamentary Secretary Greg Fergus. The announcement was followed by a visit of the 3D printing equipment and the experimental OR at the Centre for Innovative Medicine of the RI-MUHC.
