For referring physicians
We primarily accept patients whose treatment is complex due to one or more of the following factors:
- severity of symptoms
- chronicity of symptoms
- treatment resistance (at least one previous course of adequate pharmacotherapy/psychotherapy)
- severe comorbidity, severe functional impairment
- a history of recent psychiatric hospitalization or emergency department visits.
The Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program is not appropriate for patients with:
- primary psychotic disorders
- severe addictions
- treatment-interfering personality disorders
- eating disorders of moderate or greater intensity
Our patients come mainly from the area of CSSS de la Montagne. However, we do accept referrals from other zones provided there is an appropriate referral and discharge plan. Referrals should be submitted to your local Adult Mental Health Access Desk (GASMA).
