Avoid ejaculation for 2 to 3 days maximum before the appointment.
Producing the sample at the Clinic
- Check-in at reception with two (2) pieces of valid ID (e.g. Medicare, Driver’s license, Passport), including one (1) with photo ID.
- Wash your hands before producing the sample.
- Do not use lotion, lubricant or saliva for masturbation.
- Leave your semen sample in the designated deposit box on the wall.
Producing the sample at Home
- Ask the receptionist for a sterile container or obtain one from the pharmacy.
- If your container is not pre-labeled, write your name and date of birth on the label.
- Wash your hands before producing the sample.
- Do not use lotion, lubricant or saliva for masturbation.
- Bring the sample within 60 minutes of the time of ejaculation, keeping it as close to body temperature as possible.
- Check-in at reception with two (2) pieces of valid ID (e.g. Medicare, Driver’s license, Passport), including one (1) with photo ID.
