COVID-19: Resumption of admissions on the 15th floor of the Montreal General Hospital of the MUHC

Patient admissions on the 15th floor of the Montreal General Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre (MGH-MUHC) have resumed. There are no longer any positive COVID-19 cases on this unit, and the thirty MUHC staff members who had been quarantined have returned to work. A total of six patients and ten health care workers tested positive during the outbreak announced on April 14. During this outbreak episode, all patients who could have been exposed to the infected individuals were quarantined and actively monitored for symptoms.
