Raising more than $800,000, $300,000 of which will support the MUHC’s Cardiology Department, this fundraising gala was one of the premier events of the summer, and was attended by the Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Gaétan Barrette, and Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grace borough mayor Russell Copeman.

During the evening, the MUHC Foundation also presented its first-ever MUHC Foundation Award of Excellence.

This annual award is given to an individual or team that has pushed the boundaries of innovation and had a positive impact on the MUHC locally and internationally.

This year’s recipient was the MUHC’s Catheterization Laboratory team.
