Can exercising to ‘blow off steam’ cause a heart attack?

The simple answer is yes — but the real answer is a bit more nuanced. Dr. Mitch Shulman also spoke with The Suburban about the increased risk to pedestrians in the fall. As Halloween approaches, you may be making special preparations so that your children are safe as they go trick or treating, but they aren’t the only ones who need to be careful at this time of the year. As a pedestrian your risk of being involved in an unpleasant encounter with an automobile, bicycle or motorcycle increases in the fall. Wherever you live (and there are studies from different places in North America and even Australia), it’s confirmed. The risk is increased even more in the early morning and evening hours.
