Montreal Children’s Hospital move: a successful delicate operation

On May 24, the Children’s move to the Glen site transferred 66 patients, 25 of which were neonatal and pediatric patients. The safe and efficient operation lasted 3 hours and 57 minutes, less than expected, thanks to the great work and cooperation of 675 MUHC’s healthcare professionals and volunteers, 19 ambulances, paramedics from Urgences-Santé, and the staff from Health Care Relocations. MUHC’s spokespersons provided regular updates to local media covering the event, such as Le Journal de Montréal and TVA Nouvelles.
