Pediatric staff faces unique challenges when transporting patients
Approximately 85 patients will be moving, 25 % of which are patients from the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. One of MCH’s priorities is to ensure the most vulnerable patients are transferred safely. Some happiness for sick children, one gift at a time
Toumaj Ansary, hospitalized at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, gave back a little hope to sick children from the hematology-oncology department to help them deal with their illness. Le Journal de Montréal followed him while he distributed presents to delighted patients, from a remote-control dog, to a Wii console, in front of grateful parents touched by this act of generosity.
500 roses for the Montreal General Hospital
To recognize the great work of the Montreal General Hospital’s healthcare workers, a student group from the Iranian community in Montreal decided to give out flowers to staff at the hospital this Thursday. Global news was there to capture the smiles as 500 roses were handed out.
