Dr. Kaberi Dasgupta, and her colleagues of the RI-MUHC, conducted a study published in CMAJ that shows children of moms who had gestational diabetes were twice as likely to develop diabetes before the age of 22. This finding was covered widely by media on the web and Dr. Dasgupta was interviewed by CTV, CBC Homerun 88.5fm, La Presse Canadienne, Radio-Canada International, etc.
