Resources to support the mental health of expectant and new mothers

Good news for pregnant women and new mothers! Starting in September, the You, Me, Baby program will be available to patients at the McGill University Health Centre.

This online self-care platform promotes well-being and mental health to help prevent anxiety and depression in pregnant women and new mothers. The 10 modules can be completed confidentially, with the support of a partner and/or a member of the health and social services network or community services.

The modules include tools for stress management and the adoption of relaxation, mindfulness and self-compassion techniques. Supported by research, the program includes approaches derived from cognitive-behavioral therapy.
