Report about the situation in the long-term care unit for ventilo-assisted persons at the Pavillon Camille-Lefebvre, by consultant Roger Paquet
Last June, the MUHC welcomed Mr. Roger Paquet, the Ministry of Health and Social Services’ appointee, to the Camille-Lefebvre Pavilion. The MUHC requested an objective review of the situation in the long-term-care unit housing ventilator-assisted residents due to persistent challenges.
The MUHC wishes to thank Mr. Paquet for examining the situation from every angle and for presenting in person his report to stakeholders today. The MUHC will now take the time to review the recommendations and work diligently with partners to implement them and ensure optimal care and services, as well as a healthy and respectful environment for all.
