Reopening of operating rooms at Lachine Hospital
The McGill University Health Centre announces the reopening of the Lachine Hospital's operating room as of this week. Activities will resume in two phases:
- February 6: Resumption of general surgery (cancer)
- February 7: Resumption of elective surgery activities
During the construction and activation phase, air quality analyses were carried out, and the medical equipment was carefully inspected to ensure the sterility of the OB and its optimal functionality.
We would like to warmly thank the teams from Technical Services, Infection Prevention and Control, Health and Safety, Nursing, Multidisciplinary Care, Procurement and Logistics, and Housekeeping, who worked diligently and collaboratively to restore operations one day ahead of schedule.
