Pine Avenue access reopens early at the Montreal General Hospital

We are pleased to announce that phase 1 of construction at the Montreal General Hospital has finished. As of Monday, September 30, access to the Pine Avenue emergency entrance will be open for vehicles and pedestrians, one week ahead of schedule.

The work to upgrade the storm water drainage system went smoothly, thanks to favorable weather and everything falling into place as planned.

Important Details:

• While vehicle access to the Emergency Department will resume, the entrance will be narrower than usual. Staff will be on hand to help direct traffic.
• This partial restriction will last for at least another two weeks.
