Fighting mistreatment of all vulnerable adults

Over the past few months, Quebec has been rolling out an expanded role of its elder abuse hotline which has become La Ligne Aide Maltraitance Adultes Aînés (LAMAA). Now, in addition to serving the elderly and those close to them, LAMAA also offers helpline, evaluation and reference services to all vulnerable individuals 18 years and older affected by mistreatment as well as their loved ones.
