Michael Evans receives top honour for outstanding career in medical physics

The McGill University Health Centre’s Michael Evans has won the 2023 Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists (COMP) Gold Medal, the highest distinction awarded by the professional body. 

Michael’s work in medical physics began almost four decades ago in Montreal. He has held the position of clinical physicist and radiation safety officer at the MUHC for the past 20 years. Highly regarded by his colleagues, many praise Michael for having a big impact on their careers as well as on the medical physics field.
